Happy November! We began this month in the best way possible – Mass together as a school for All Saints Day. Our 6th Graders did a wonderful job with the readings and serving on the altar. Our Kindergarteners were beautiful little saints and even surprised us with a special song! Father Robert asked us to remember 3 words and their meanings: Holy, Saint, and Heaven.

PreK 4 celebrated All Saints Day by making special saint headbands and sharing something special they do that brings them closer to God.

On Wednesday, our 3rd Graders continued their adventure at Jenkinson’s Aquarium with Week 4 of their Penguin Study. They learned all about the special things that penguins can do (their super powers) and created their own superhero penguins!  We sincerely thank the Point Pleasant Beach Police Department for escorting us each week and keeping us safe!

On Thursday, students had a blast at recess on a picture perfect day!

Sixth Graders carved their names into pumpkins in cuneiform – ancient Mesopotamian writing. Fascinating!

Seventh grade is learning the Law of Conservation of Mass with chemical reactions and modeling molecules with beads and cubes.

Fifth graders are learning about nature and identifying leaves.

To end the week, we honored and celebrated local Veterans with a beautiful and moving show. Our students sang, created artwork, wrote poetry, and marched to honor our Veterans. Following the show, Veterans enjoyed refreshments and engaged in conversation with our 7th and 8th Graders. It was a very special day, and we are so grateful to those who have served our country!
