Founded in 1923, Saint Peter School is the first and oldest Catholic school in Ocean County.
Serves students in Pre-K through eighth grade. All day pre-school is provided.
Served by both the Conventual Franciscan Friars (OFM Conv) and a dedicated and experienced lay faculty. Saint Peter School employs New Jersey State certified teachers.

2016 National Blue Ribbon School of Excellence and a 2020 State School of Character recipient.

The prayer partner program at Saint Peter School is a unique and valuable aspect of our community. It allows for older students to mentor and guide younger students, fostering a sense of respect and connection between different grade levels.
Advanced Math in Grades 5-8 as well as Math Enrichment in Grades 3-4.
Spanish, Music, Art, Library, Physical Education, Technology and band.
Well-equipped library with a wide range of age appropriate books for all reading levels.
Busing is available from Point Pleasant Boro and Brick. Some towns provide transportation credit, when busing is unavailable or if you opt to provide transportation for your children.

School Achievements
Saint Peter School has been named a 2020 State School of Character!Character.org a national advocate and leader for character in schools, families, sports teams, and the workplace today designated 81 schools and 7 districts as State Schools of Character for 2020. Saint Peter School is the only school in Ocean County to be granted this designation.
“We are pleased to announce today the 2020 State Schools and Districts of Character,” said Dr. Arthur Schwartz, Character.org‘s Board Chair and Interim CEO. “These schools’ representatives, including educators, parents, and students, are working together to create stronger communities that exemplify the character strengths of honesty, caring, and responsibility. We are honored to be validating their efforts and sharing their inspiring work with schools and school districts throughout the United States.”

Saint Peter School has been named a 2016 NATIONAL BLUE RIBBON SCHOOL OF EXCELLENCE!
Our representatives traveled to Washington DC to receive this honor from the Secretary of the Department of Education.
