May you experience all the wonder of the Advent season! Here at school, we are keeping this beautiful season of Advent holy by preparing our minds and hearts for the coming of Jesus. Each Monday we have a beautiful Advent prayer and reflection, and our Advent wreath adorns the entryway as we wait in joyful anticipation of Jesus’ birth. On Thursday, our students celebrated a special Advent liturgy and will also be receiving the Sacrament of Reconciliation to become closer to God. As always, our dedication to service helps those in need and fills our spirits with the wonders of God’s love. Our hallways are filled with the joy and anticipation of the season. Special thanks to the Student Council for decorating so beautifully.

Some other wonderful sights from our hallways include a Tree of Thanks in front of the 8th grade classroom and a Gallery of Gratitude outside the Art room, which features drawings and words of thanks for every teacher and staff member here at school! Truly beautiful!

World Cup fever has spread throughout the middle school! Classes are locating and learning about each country participating in the event and keeping track of all of the results. They are having a great time taking part in this joint project!

There’s never a dull moment in the Science Lab! The 5th Graders created DNA molecule models; 7th Grade played the classic game of Battleship with the Periodic Table; and 8th Grade did a mineral identification study on fracture versus cleavage.

During this wondrous season, may you experience peace and joy and create cherished memories that will last a lifetime. Mrs. Kobrin
