Beyond the top-notch academic curriculum, our child's experience at St. Peter School has incorporated a strong sense of civic engagement and social justice, beginning in small increments, like the daily practice of remembering those who need our prayers, and growing into opportunities for giving back, like the prayer partner program or service to the local food pantry, and many other targeted ways of assisting our communities. With its core values of Respect, Reverence, and Responsibility, St. Peter School vibrantly embodies the core Catholic philosophy that we are all a part of God's family, and as such we have a responsibility to respond to the needs of others. We can't think of a better way to prepare our child for the world than to give her the same tools that have been given to multiple generations of our family who have passed through the doors of St. Peter School - tools of kindness, love, mercy, and compassion.
Cristina Ergunay, Mom of Ayla – St Peter School Class of 2026
I am writing this as we prepare to enter our last year at St. Peter School. Our kids are going into 8th, 10th, and 12th grades, and SPS has been a part of our lives for so many years. When we look back on all these years, we will fondly remember all the time spent in the gym at basketball games, on the boardwalk selling raffle tickets, Halloween parades, Veteran's Day shows, and Christmas pageants. But most importantly, watching our children grow into amazing young people who loved their time at St. Peter's were they made lifelong friends. We were blessed to have all these years of enjoying our children's school years while watching them grow and learn in a setting that they felt was a "home away from home". Academically, they have soared and have been more than prepared for high school. Learning in an environment where they felt safe and loved made all the difference. They will all tell you that they loved going to a small school where it felt more like a family than a classroom. St. Peter's set our kids up academically, socially, and spiritually for the rest of their lives and we couldn't be happier with the experience we had there.
Martucci FamilyChoosing Saint Peter Pre-K-4 program was one of the best decisions we could make for our son. The large and creative space to learn, engage and interact with classmates has made a big impact on our child's academic growth this year. The patience and kind, inviting demeanor the teachers have given throughout this year is unmatched. We are so thankful for the invested and caring teachers that truly took the time to build a curriculum that provides support and encourages growth academically and socially.
